Outline Help

Overview: Stuck? Here are possible outlines for your essay, below.


Prompt 1: Near the end of the story, Prometheus writes that “the day will come when I shall . . . raze the cities of the enslaved” and that “the Councils of my brothers will be impotent against me.” Why do you think Prometheus foresees a struggle with his collectivist world? Why does he think he will prevail?



Point One: Reason one why they do not escape. Why and how are they the enslaved?

Point Two: Describe Equality at the beginning of Anthem and how his brothers were weakened by the society. How you see this happening in Inequality for All.

Point Three: Describe Prometheus from Greek Mythology (Use a strong source from the internet) and the use of him in Anthem. How does Prometheus see this way? Robert Reich?

Point Four: Equality now as Prometheus. Focus on the final chapters, and how he will need to fight. How does Robert Reich?

Point Five: Why will there be a struggle? What problems will arise? Why will Prometheus (Equality) be victorious? Robert Reich?  Key:  What do we need to do?  What will you do?

Introduction: Use your concept from the seven step process and forma new introduction. Develop your working thesis into a clear statement of purpose. Be sure to mention Objectivism.
