In chapter 43 The Artful Dodger had been caught and Fagin is worried they are starting to get suspicious about his “business”. When Dodger was caught pickpotting They found a SIlver snuff box on him. Since he was caught stealing they knew that item also did not belong to him because to its value.

In chapter 47 Sikes is convinced everyone has betrayed him and he has to treat them all equally now, which is most likely in violence. This is also when Sikes beats Nancy up instead of shooting her because he realized it would make too much noise. The next morning which is continues into chapter 48 now shows Sikes waking up and Nancy is now completely dead. Now Sikes really realizes what he has done and thinks he needs to escape town, and maybe even to France.

In the final chapter 53, Oliver is now adopted my Mr. Brownlow. Noah claypole is punished for being part of the attempt of their crime. Both Mrs. and Mr. brownlow are fired from the workhouse, but they soon become dangerously poor and have to try and get their “jobs” back there. Also rose and Harry are finally getting married, and they are going to have many kids. Oliver is much happier with his new adoptive family, they treat him like their own son.

In chapter 44, Sikes continues his relentless attacks on Nancy’s well-being; he doesn't allow her to go out and implicitly imprisons her in her own home, "Let me go," said the girl with great earnestness; then, sitting herself down on the floor before the door, she said – "Bill, let me go; you don’t know what you’re doing – you don’t, indeed. For only one hour – do – do!". Fagin overhears their dispute and makes it his goal to end Sikes life as he continuously proves to only bring distress into peoples lives. Fagin isn't all good though because he's using Nancy and trying to find ways to blackmail her and get her to kill sikes out of rage.

In chapter 51, Oliver goes back to his hometown with Mrs. Maylie, Rose, Mrs. Bedwin, and Mr. Losberne. Eventually, Monk’s plot to get rid of Oliver to inherit all the family money is exposed. Mr. Bumble has a change of heart (most likely because he realized how he was treating Oliver like his wife treats him now).

In chapter 53, Rose and Harry get married, Monks spends all his money and goes back to being a squatter, Oliver is adopted by mr. Brownlow, Noah Claypole gets a job as an informer, Bates decided to give up his life of crime and everything is well for those who worked hard; “The fortunes of those who have figured in this tale are nearly closed, and what little remains to their historian to relate is told in few and simple words.”.

Chapter 44 - Nancy was eavesdropping on Fagin and Bill, who were having a private discussion. The robber ratted Nancy out, and locked her in a room. After Bill finushes his discussion, Fagin tells Nancy how she can escape that cold-hearted brute (a.k.a lover).

Chapter 47 - With the information she has gained, Nancy meets with Rose Maylie and Mr. Brownlow to plan Oliver's escape. However, Fagin sends a spy (Noah Claypole) to stalk Nancy. The Jew, boiling with rage, informs Bill about her snitching on them. The robber, boiling with anger rushes to find Nancy and murders her. Bill had to get rid of the evidence, so he takes a club and burns it in fire. Then, he calls Bulls-eye and the troublemakers escape their own home.

Chapter 53 - Oliver is saved! Brownlow adopts him as his son, and they along with Mr. Losberne and Grimwig moved closer to where Harry lives. Brownlow arranges for Mr. Monks' property to be divided between himself, and Oliver (half-brother). Monks travels to America, where he was arrested and died in prison. As for Mr. Bumble, he and his wife turned to paupers in the workhouse. Noah now works as an Informer, which he realizes as a genteel subsitence. As for Rose, she is now a sister to Oliver. In the end of that scenario, Oliver has found freedom!

The final section of Charles Dickens’ “Oliver Twist” ties up the loose ends left by its predecessors, bringing together some characters we never expected to see interact and giving most of them the endings the reader has been willed to wish upon them. Chapter 42 begins this return of forgotten characters, reintroducing Charlotte and Noah Claypole as they advance toward London, seeming to have run away after committing some sort of robbery. Being the type to avoid getting his hands dirty, Noah has Charlotte carry their luggage, a task which she is hardly capable of doing due to the sheer weight. The travelers eventually come across the Three Cripples; a bar which has frequently housed the likes of Fagin, Nancy, and Bill Sikes, where they have apparently been told they can find lodging. They are met at the door by Barney, the villainous young ruffian who had previously associated with Toby Crackit, who is eventually able to confirm that they can stay there. Noah and Charlotte are then led to their room, with Fagin conveniently walking in as soon as Barney completes the job of guiding them. In observing Oliver’s old companions from the other side of a glass wall, Fagin takes a liking to Noah, thinking that the boy would be of great use to him, and after listening to some conversation the criminal makes himself known to the guests. A conversation ensues between Fagin and Noah Claypole, as they discuss their tendencies to steal, and they eventually get to the point where the more seasoned robber can offer his new acquaintance a job working for him; becoming one of his boys just like the Artful Dodger or Charley Bates. Noah takes some convincing, but eventually agrees, and when Fagin finally asks for a name he is smart enough to use a fake one, giving birth to the persona of Morris Bolter.

Bolter carries out a few missions for Fagin in the following chapters, rescuing the Dodger from prison and spying on Nancy when Fagin becomes skeptical of her loyalty. Fagin’s suspicions about his female friend are proven correct by Noah in Chapter 46, where he listens in on her conversing with Rose Maylie and Mr. Brownlow on London Bridge, promising to hand over some of her compadres (namely Monks, though Fagin’s name is brought up as well). Chapter 47 entails the aftermath of this event, in which Sikes hears of it and reacts. The aforementioned criminal arrives at the residence he shares with Fagin, the boys, and others, much later than usual, and Fagin wastes no time starting a conversation regarding the Nancy situation. Fagin starts Sikes off about the possibility of a traitor, and then wakes up Noah (who had been asleep on the floor this entire time), getting him to recite everything he had previously informed Fagin of. Both of Bill Sikes’ associates proceed to tell him how Nancy had gone to London Bridge, and had betrayed the robbers to Rose and Brownlow, and made sure he heard why she had not done the same the previous week, and how she managed to avoid the same that night. “‘Because she was forcibly kept at home by Bill, the man she had told them of before’” (420) and that “‘she couldn't very easily get out of doors unless he knew where she was going to,'/'and so the first time she went to see the lady, she—ha! ha! ha! it made me laugh when she said it, that it did—she gave him a drink of laudanum.'” (420) Hearing that Nancy had drugged him to go on errands he wouldn’t have approved of was the last straw for Sikes, and he storms up to his room, knowing that is where the girl will be. Upon finding her right where he had guessed, he drags her to the middle of the room by the throat. Nancy, well knowing that Bill intends to kill her, grasps his arms so that he cannot strike and begs for her life, even proposing that the two of them take up an offer of foreign solitude presented to her by Mr. Brownlow. Alas, Bill manages to free an arm and grab his pistol, shooting Nancy in the head and finishing the job with a blow from a heavy club, ending the chapter with the poor girl’s life.

By Chapter 50, word of Bill Sikes’ vile deed had spread throughout London, with the majority of the city wanting the thug dead. Toby Crackit, Tom Chitling, and a third robber by the name of Kags are at this point hiding out in a rather remote and abandoned part of town, following the arrests of Fagin and Noah Claypole. The three robbers are still engaged in conversation about this topic when they are interrupted by the arrival of Bull’s-eye, canine companion to Sikes. Worry instantly arises that this means that the murderer himself is on his way, suspicions which are confirmed when they hear a knocking on their door some time later. Some more time after Sikes joins the party, yet another person arrives: this time, it’s Master Charley Bates. Bates, who has now developed a great fear of Sikes due to his actions against Nancy, is both terrified and enraged by the mere sight of the thug, quickly engaging in a brawl with him. They are interrupted, however, when Crackit spots an angry mob, approaching Sikes’ shelter with the intent to see him dead. The murderer locks Bates in another room and manages to get his hands on a rope, which he uses to climb to the roof of the house. By this point, the mob of onlookers had gotten close to success in their attempts to reach their target, and had blocked virtually all possible means of escape. Bill decides to make one last attempt to escape by simply creeping away in all the confusion around him, trying to get down from his current elevation by tying one end of the rope around the chimney, and the other into a noose-like shape to fit around his body. As he is slipping this noose on, however, he is startled by someone in the crowd and loses his balance, falling off the roof with the noose around his neck, is killed instantly when the rope loses the last of its slack and leaves the murderer hanged. At this time, Bull’s-eye emerges and jumps to the corpse of his owner, but misses, falling into a nearby ditch and “ turning completely over as he went; and striking his head against a stone, dashed out his brains.” (420)
